Hikernut's Grand Canyon Companion chosen by PMA for National Distribution!

PMA, The Independent Book Publishers Association recently announced that Hikernut's Grand Canyon Companion has been selected into their Trade Distribution Program for inclusion in the Independent Publishers Group - Small Press Catalog for Fall of 2008. Selection into this program is made by a committee of representatives from the independent bookselling community, the major chains, and national book wholesalers. Typically the Independent Publishers Group (IPG) selects only the top 2 percent of submitted titles into the program.

According to IPG, this program, now in its 34th season, has been founded on the idea that booksellers nationwide would welcome the titles of small publishers if these books met high standards for appearance and content, and if they could be handled efficiently and profitably. It has provided a successful and secure point of entry into the book trade for many small presses. Book sellers interested in this title are asked to call IPG at (800) 888-4741.
